Mata Siddhidatri Pooja
Siddhidatri is the ninth form of Goddess Durga who is worshipped on the ninth day of Navratri. The name Siddhidatri suggests that she is the provider of wisdom, Siddhi meaning Wisdom, and Datri meaning provider. She is the last form of Durga worshiped but is said to be the first form of Durga, or shakti to be formed. When the entire universe was a hot ball of fire and there was no life on the globe and the entire universe was sad, dark, and depressed, the first unit of light and shine that fell in place as a Swayambhoo (born on itself) was Goddess Siddhidatri. She gave life to plants, trees, animals, and humans. She made the Tridev (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh) and she made compartmentalization of their departments of work. She then created her 2 clones as wives of Brahma and Vishnu as Saraswati and Lakshmi. She also created an Adi Shakti which will later be born as Parvati when Siddhidatri merges with her to become the wife of Lord Shiva. She also created eight superpowers for the proper administration and running of the world.
Siddhidatri is the female administrator of the world as against Vishnu, who is the male administrator of the world. She also created the Ardh Narishwar Avatar of Lord Shiva to make up for gender between the male and female sides. She sits on a lotus and holds lotus, mace, Shankha, and Chakra in her four hands. She is said to hold the complete knowledge of the entire world and nothing in the world unnoticed by her.
