Can Rudraksha and Tulsi be worn together?

There is a lot of chatter around this topic because Tulsi is never offered to Lord Shiva and Rudraksha bead is the representation of Lord Shiva and Tulsi is therefore prohibited to be worn with Rudraksha beads.

Yet people forget that there is only one day in a solar year when Tulsi can be offered to Lord Shiva, and thus Shiva is not entirely oblivious of Tulsi. Apart from that, 7 Mukhi Rudraksha is more a bead of Goddess Lakshmi than Lord Shiva.

Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu are married and Lord Vishnu is very close to Tulsi. Anything offered to Lord Vishnu is considered incomplete without Tulsi because he loves Tulsi dearly.
