Hawan is an activity of performing a Pooja and Poornahuti dedicated to Lord Agni, to seek protection from the worst effects of fire and any possibility of jealousy. It is done to maintain happiness among the inhabitants and create a circle of protection around the worshipper. It is done to exert power and make an act of trust amongst the inhabitants.

In the early Vedic period, after any Pooja or Anushthan, Hawan was a mandatory ritual that summed up the complete Pooja. Hawan (Homam) marked the successful completion of Pooja after which, the results of that Puja will show in the life of the worshipper.

Hawan is performed in multiple different rituals by different people and different Pujas. But all the Hawan Pujas have some things in common, most importantly, the Hawan Samagri and the Hawan Toolkit.

In this purchase, you will find a set of 3 Toolkits including The Achmani, The Sakladani, and the Gheedani. In Achmani, during the start of the Pooja, the people take the Achmani and do the pre-Hawan Achman after which Ganesha Pooja is done.

With the Ghee Dani, when the fire of Hawan is lit, the oil/ ghee is packed in small quantities and is offered to the fire at the count of saying Swaha by all the priests reciting a mantra. Since the Hawan goes on for a long, the Gheedani has a small opening to keep adding a small quantity of fuel to the fire. The rod is kept long to avoid direct contact of the hand with high-intensity fire that may cause major damage to the skin.

Similarly, the Sakladani is to pour small quantities of Sakla (Hawan Samagri) into the Hawan Kund (Homam Vedi) at the chant of the mantra Swaha which means adding food to fire and making the Hawan of that much Pooja successful. This Sakla is made of multiple items and can be bought from Rudraksha Hub. The Sakla Dani is made a little bigger than the Ghee Dani as it has to pick up solid items and such a small hole will not be able to do enough justice. Also, this is made of wood as it is a poor conductor of heat and is made with a long stick because the hand will be prone to accidents if it is reached too close to the fire spot.

Thus, this toolkit helps in making a good Hawan and Yagya (Homam and Yajna) facility for the lookersonlookers and worshippers. Happy Shopping..!!
