Shlok-30

देही नित्यमवध्योऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत । तस्मात्सर्वाणि भूतानि न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि ॥ 2-30 ||

English Transcription

Dehee Nityamawadhyoyam Dehe Sarvasya Bhaarat | Tasmaatsarvaani Bhootaani Na twam Shochitumarhasi || 2-30 ||

Hindi Translation

Hey Bharatwanshodbhav Arjun! Sabke deh mein ye dehi nitya hi awadhya hai. Isiliye sampoorna praaniyon ke liye bhi arthaat kisi bhi praani ke liye tumhe shok nahin karna chahiye.

English Translation

This dweller is in the body of everyone and is ever invulnerable. O Bharata, therefore, you should not greive for any creature.

Meaning

In the previous Shlok, we saw how Shri Krishna tried to explain everything about the body, its transformation, its existence, and everything. After this, he told Arjun that there aren’t enough words to describe the grandeur of the entire process, and thus everyone only learns, talks, and explains about this in amusement, amazement, mesmerized state, and astonishment only.

In this Shlok, we will be learning about not just the human body and soul but the body of every other living flora and fauna on Earth.

All people, Gods, animals, birds, insects, and others are completely mortal but their soul is completely immortal. Some of these cannot be dead and some of these should not be dead. So, one must never cry about the loss that is happening because there is nothing that can ever be demolished as everything that is demolished comes back and the immortal is not very stable. At the same time, it is very stable also in some regards, so it depends upon the person and it also depends upon the people.

The entire body is destructible because it is its innate nature but what is inevitable cannot ever be finished so if everyone learns this, it will be very easy.

Conclusion

People who only learn superficial things and knowledge from the top will not be able to focus on the in-depth analysis of everything, they will only grieve over things they will not understand. But the people who understand everything, who know what is wrong and what is right, who have the power to make things better are the ones who will understand that grieving over things that are not in control is baseless and useless and stupid, and thus they will not do these things in their lives.
