त्रैगुण्यविषया वेदा निस्त्रैगुण्यो भवार्जुन । निर्द्वन्द्वो नित्यसत्त्वस्थो निर्योगक्षेम आत्मवान् ॥ 2-45 ||
English Transcription
Traigunyavishayaa Veda Nistraegunyo Bhawaarjuna | Nirdwandwo Nityasattwastho Niryogakshem Aatmawaan || 2-45 ||
Hindi Translation
Ved teeno guno ke kaarya ka hi varnan karne wale hain. Hey Arjun, tum teeno gunon se rahit ho jao, raag dweshaadi dwandwon se rahit ho jaao, nirantar nitya vastu parmatma me sthit ho jaao, yogkshem ki chaahna bhi mat rakho or parmaatparaayan ho jao.
English Translation
Dear Arjun, the Vedas deal with three attributes, and you be above these, namely, beyond the pair of opposites, ever steadfast in purity, careless of possessions and full of self.
