कामात्मानः स्वर्गपरा जन्मकर्मफलप्रदाम् । क्रियाविशेषबहुलां भोगैश्वर्यगतिं प्रति ॥ 2-43 ||
English Transcription
Kaamaatmaanah Swargapara Janmakarmafalpradaanam | Kriyavisheshbahulaam Bhogaeshwaryagatim Prati || 2-43 ||
Hindi Translation
Jo kaamnaaon me tanmaye ho rahe hain, swarg ko hi shreshth maante hain, jo janmaroopi karmafal ko dene wali hai tatha bhog aur aishwarya ki praapti ke liye bahit si kriyaaon ka varnan karne wali hai.
English Translation
With desire for self, with heaven for goal, they offer birth as the fruit of action, and prescribe many and various ceremonies for the attainment of pleasure and lordship.
